Real Estate Content Strategy, Management, and Copy
The Goal
In a world full of Zillow, Trulia, and Redfin, standing out in real estate isn’t easy. Homefinder needed a better way to connect with its audience — methods that didn’t just put the site inline with the major industry players, but truly set it apart.
The Result
By bringing personality and valuable information to Homefinder, we created exceptional results. Traffic increased significantly, bounce rates decreased, and we continued to bring in increasing leads month after month.
The Process
Real estate sites are full of information — but most of that information comes in the form of stats — walkability scores, population data, safety ratings, and so on. But most of them don’t truly provide home buyers and sellers with resources to help them along in their real estate journey. So for us, standing apart meant making a push to become the best source for guides, insights, and tips in the business.
I devised content strategies to bring traffic to city search pages by injecting personality and valuable information to traditionally stale places. This, combined with a powerful blog and social strategy would be what made Homefinder stand out in a crowded market.
